Eggnog French Toast

It's that time of year again.

Eggnog is in the grocery store!

Jon loves French Toast, so I decided to make him some with Eggnog!

It's wicked easy.

A few eggs...

A big splash of Eggnog...

Some freshly grated nutmeg...

Whisk it all together...

And some nice thick Texas Toast bread...

Into a hot buttered skillet...

Give it a flip...

And it's time for breakfast!

French toast is not usually my first choice for breakfast. I definitely prefer pancakes. But I have to say, this French Toast was insanely delicious!!!

This is perfect to serve to your overnight holiday guests!

I prefer french toast over pancakes...and waffles over all of the above. What a great idea to use eggnog though!! I make a french toast sandwich about once a year...chocolate and peanut butter in the middle and rolled in special k.

My husband is a huge French Toast fan. He will love this recipe. I was actually looking at Soy Egg Nog yesterday at the grocery store and wondering how it tasted.

GREAT idea adding eggnog in place of the milk! I'm going to give it a try. Now I just need to remember to pick up eggnog and bread!

I love eggnog, but it is so rich that I can only drink a little bit. What a great way to get the flavor of the eggnog, but in something other than just drinking it!
