My mom has made this for as long as I can remember.
Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Batter:
1/2 C butter
1 C sugar
3 eggs
1 C sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Topping/Filling:
1/2 C brown sugar
3/4 C walnuts
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Combine butter, sugar, eggs and sour cream.
3. Mix well.
4. Add remaining batter ingredients.
5. Mix well.
6. In a separate small bowl, mix all topping/filling ingredients.
7. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased tube pan and sprinkle with 1/2 topping.
8. Add remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining topping.
9. Bake 40 - 45 minutes at 350°F
