Smells like the 80s

So this blog is 'Just what's going on in my kitchen".

And every once in a while... it's Shake-n-Bake Pork Chops, Rice-a-Roni, Stove Top Stuffing, a Veggie (canned) and some kinda ready made Biscuits/Dinner Rolls!

One day last week was one of those days!!

Photobucket

My family LOVES these days!!!

We had fresh green beans... and no biscuits/bread... so it was a little better.

They often try to talk me into Cheesy Hashbrowns Hamburger Helper too!!

The Hamburger Helper days only happen once every couple of years (if they're lucky... or unlucky... I guess it depends on your POV!)

Every once in a while... that stuff is great!!

Dinner ROCKED!!!

Actually, the Rice-A-Roni, I still make on a pretty regular basis!

Mmm - sometimes you just need those nostalgic meals to comfort you! Looks great!

Awesome! I've never heard of the hash brown Hamburger Helper. I keep a box of Zesty Italian (or whatever it's called now) on hand for emergencies. Heh.

I haven't had shake and bake in ages, but I still love Stove Top. There is just nothing like it. Sometimes I crust chicken/pork with it. :)

My hubs begs me for dinners like this, and once and a while when I do make them, they do rock!

omg...I love it! Rice-A-Roni and StoveTop Stuffing!! They're sooo good. I think I have a box of each in my cupboard. How weird is this...my girls do not like Rice-A-Roni, but one of them likes Pasta-A-Roni or whatever its called.

I must confess-I love the cheesy hashbrown Hamburger Helper! I know, it is terrible for me, but it is sooooo good!

I'm all for these dinners! In our case, it's Tombstone Frozen Pizzas for Pizza Night Thursdays. Sure, we love the fancy-pants pies but sometimes, you just want the simple, pop-in-the-oven-and-don't-think-about-it-anymore-just-eat-and-enjoy dinner! 8-D
