Yup... plain ol' chocolate chip cookies.
For Christmas weekend football, I had lots of different kinds of cookies out. Our friend Jeff was looking for the "chocolate chip cookies". I explained to him that chocolate chip cookies are everyday cookies and not special enough for the Christmas trays. He disagreed. Thankfully, Ericka had my back and totally agreed with me!
We ended up at Jeff's house for New Year's Day. Since he was disappointed in the cookie selection a few days before. I made a double batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies to bring to his house.

As it turns out, Jeff prefers his chocolate chip cookies without nuts. But he still put them in his private snack stash!
I had the same debate with a coworker. She made chocolate chip cookies for Christmas and I certainly wasn't going to turn one down! Yours look great!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how popular chocolate chip cookies are ALL the time with my coworkers. I could make the most gourmet, crazy dessert, but next to a plate of chocolate chip cookies it won't stand a chance. :) Thanks for visiting my blog, by the way!
ReplyDeleteThose look awesome, chocolate chip cookies rule. I disagree though, chocolate chip cookies are definitely festive enough for any holiday. ;)
